This is the L.A moto cop who gave me a $160 "texting ticket." Thanks guy. for a while in los angeles "SEATBELT TICKETS" were all the rage for cops to make easy money for the city...now it seems that "TEXTING TICKETS" are the NEW SCAM .. I was sitting .. ..in dead still traffic & checking maps & suddenly there was the moto-cop...that's NOT to say that some #texting tickets are not deserved but if he was REALLY concerned about safety he would pick & choose the right situation to write tickets, not just anybody anywhere anytime... ..but what bothers me even more is knowing that he was "spying" on me ..he was driving in my blind spot for that "gotcha" moment .. it's a form of "legalism" that is NOT according to the spirit of the law.. it hurts my morale and undoubtedly others . speaks for itself
